Our Help Center is now featuring publications featuring Firetail including recent works on behavior, feeding sites and home ranges of fruit bats by Isabella Mandl et al., 2025. This wonderful study features the FireSOM algorithm for category prediction of 3-axis acceleration patterns:
We identified potential feeding sites in the bats' home ranges by annotating all available GPS points into behavioral categories extracted from the associated acceleration data using the FireSOM algorithm
Congratulations to all authors. We are amazed that our work is useful to your research and your daily work!
